Project III : Object Detection - Sign Language Detection
Aim of the Project
To detect Real-Time Sign Language with webcam using the Tensorflow Object Detection API
Life Cycle of the Project
- The images used for this Project were collected from the Webcam itself
- The Project involved 5 distinct classes to be trained upon, capturing at least 30 images for each class
- Labelled the images using Label Image library
- Setup all the required dependencies and cloned the Official Tensorflow Models GitHub Repository.
- Applied Transfer Learning using Pre-trained SSD Mobile Net V2 model from the Tensorflow Model Zoo and built an Object Detection Model using Tensorflow Object Detection API
- Performed static image Predictions, as well as Real-Time Predictions using Webcam
